Something about this boulder makes me smile and now that I have seen it, I can’t unsee it.
Today’s inspirational message from the Momentum Screensaver is ….“If you want your life to be a magnificent story, then begin by realizing that you are the author.” I don’t think I would read the book I am writing at the moment and went into photos to look for inspiration. I found this boulder and the simplicity hit the spot.
I am seeking the new manifestation theme for March as I already fulfilled the February one. Is the answer in this question? Sort of. Manifesting is supposed to be visionary, not details. The spirit of where you want to go, who you want to be, how your life will unfold. Then the universe steps in for the fulfillment department. Where to start? Start with what you enjoy and branch out from there to form a vision of life that is full of those things. Start with what makes you sparkle. Feel the energy that bubbles out when you are in the right zone. Let the life unfold into that zone.
Super excited to flow forward with ideas that have been in the works for quite some time! I am fascinated by the amazing play of water and light at the rivers edge. So many moments captured with now idea how the images will really turn out… the magic unfolds when one shot captures the light in such a way… the sparkle of the moment hits the surface of the water … revealing so many layers.
As I mention in my bio, This Positively Daily adventure venture has allowed me the space to share art and products created with my photos, things which help me shift perspective.
Sometimes it is more visual and mystical as in looking at the reflection on the surface of the water rather than seeing the rocks below. This is my Reflecting Ideas Into Reality passion.
My first venture is the River Reflection Series~ various products created with moments captured on the river. These photos inspire me and help me to take time to pause, filter out the action of the moment and focus on the flow. Products with these photos help me bring that feeling I get on the river into my daily life.
This has a series of a couple of my favorite captures turned into various products to bring nature home and give opportunities to feel the flow in your daily life. I plan to expand with more but getting a few off the drawing board feels like a real win.
This image captures todays feeling.. Ever feel that you are suspended mid flight? Or is it mid fall? Not sure.. Was this leaf taking off or tumbling down. Did the wind pick it up providing support or did some of the tumbling leaf friends there on the mossy boulder lift him up in some kind of amazing fall foliage gymnastic competition? Is this taking anthropomorphism too far?? I don’t think you can take it too far when using imagination.. But if you were to now never walk on a leaf because it may be on it way to the Olympic trials.. That would be too far.
But this leaf captures the essence of thoughts today and its all about Perspective. Up Down Flying Falling Supported by others for your dramatic 10 out of 10 totally nailed the landing win or the probably unnecessary swan dive.
Shift your mind. Look past the foreground to the blurry mysterious and hopeful future beyond.
In this image, a fisherman in the blurry distance.. the future perhaps.. A great example of the eternally hopeful. Cast, cast, Cast.. Some day maybe I catch one and then I just let it go to continue to be ever hopeful for the next capture.
Visualization is one of the great tools that is about seeing where you want to go- and it helps you get there- but its not as easy as it sounds.
Seeing is not always believing.
Especially when it mean you see it in your mind but not in the world around you.
Of course, when things pan out and you say “Whoa, no way I was so thinking that last week and I am getting a crazy déjà vu” = that is in fact something that happened in real time… Whoa. Cool .
Yea I like magic and party tricks too. David Copperfield is killer and don’t you spoil it for me with the answers! I will live in my own limited reality there to enjoy it thank you very much.
But visualization as a means to larger life changing impact, is a whole other level.
I believe very much in the power of changing your mind to change your life. It works. I will have more posts later to continue to back this up but today’s photo, the waders and boots under the river flow, are the focus of the post. I use this image to imagine and remind me of the feeling of fishing. Even if you don’t fly fish, you can visualize your own version of the scene.
The thickness of the water makes walking through space more tangible. Each step feels like an intentional movement. It is not difficult, but it is now noticeable. I am moving forward.
Calm. Purposeful. Intentional. Without analysis.
Quiet . Listening to the flow. Watching the current. Moving in the direction of the flow.
Ah the holiday season is just a temporary reality and time is a construct, but I am just obsessing over this guy and I don’t know why. Is he dancing or threatening? Welcoming or warning? Is it a he? Why would I assume so? Its pretty curvy but somehow strikes me as masculine.
One of my favorite psychological disorders strikes again… Merry Psychological Disturbances that are just reality Christmas!
